Airport

Speedboat Departure location

Step by step explanation from the moment you leave the airplane

STEP 1: Landing of your international flight at Velana international airport.

STEP 2: Leave the terminal in the direction of where the taxis depart. All speedboats depart in the same area, close to where the taxi stand is. This is about a 1 minute walk from the point you collect your luggage.

STEP 3: The airport and capital Male’ are located on two different islands next to each other.
The speedboat (Endheri 2) will most likely pick up travelers in Male’ and travel to the airport after. The boat will be there around 4:05 – 4:15 PM (16:05 – 16:15h).
You could check the actual location of the speedboat by using the FollowMe Vessel Tracker.

NOTE! If it is Friday, or the ocean is rough (highly exceptional), the speedboat will depart Male’ at 3PM (15:00h), and pick you up at the airport around 3:05 – 3:15 PM (15:05 – 15:15h).

NOTE! In unlikely cases, and only when it coincides with your Estimated Time of Arrival, the boat will come to pick you up from the airport before picking up guests in Male’. We will try to contact you as soon as we receive this information.

STEP 4: Tell the boat crew you’re staying at Bliss and hand them your bags that will be put under deck. You won’t have access to these until your arrival on Dhigurah.

STEP 5: Take a seat and enjoy the ride! Duration: ~2 hours

Stops:

    1. Resort – An unlikely, but possible stop just before Dhangethi
    2. Dhangethi – A definite stop at around 1.5 hours (90 minutes) into your journey. This is a local island just before Dhigurah
    3. Dhigurah – The final stop – 10 minutes after departure from Dhangethi

STEP 6: Once you arrive on Dhigurah, our staff will be waiting at the harbor and take you to Bliss.
Sometimes the ocean is a mirror, mostly some waves, and rarely it might be rough.
